Dilation of the renal pelvis, with or without ureteral dilation
Possible causes:
*Blockage of urinary outflow, dependent on the length of time and completeness of obstruction
*Tumors, calculi, chronic infections, and anomalies
*Orphaned animal because of no stimulation of urination by mother
